Children information:

  • Recommended for children aged 10 years and above, at the discretion of the parent or guardian
  • Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 18 or above
  • Children under 2 years old don’t need to pre-book a ticket to enter Blackpool Tower Dungeon during Off Peak times

Accessibility information:

  • The Blackpool Tower Dungeon is fully wheelchair accessible
  • Please note that some floor surfaces are uneven
  • A helper or carer is welcome to accompany a disabled visitor without charge. Only one carer can receive free entry per guest. Please arrange this in advance. Documentary proof of disability is required on arrival

Ticket restrictions:

The Drop Dead Drop ride:

  • The minimum height restriction is 1.4 meters tall
  • Due to the position of the safety bar on the ride, there are some size restrictions that you must be aware of:
    • Torso - 29cm
    • Seat width - 44cm
    • Leg depth - 16cm
  • Guests with epilepsy are unable to ride
  • You must be free from:
    • Heart complaints or pacemakers
    • Broken limbs or have recently had surgery
    • Any other condition which may result in injury or complication from riding
  • This ride is not suitable for pregnant women. Members of staff will be happy to show you alternative routes
  • Please note: You do not have to go on the Drop Dead ride, you can simply move on to the next section
  • Also note: There are areas which have enclosed spaces and will make you feel scared at some points. Due to the nature of the attraction, you should expect jump-out scares and unexpected frights
  • The Blackpool Tower Dungeon is not suitable for those suffering from claustrophobia. Please contact us for more information
  • Opening times vary from day to day. Please contact us for details. Typical opening hours are the following:
    • 10:30 or 11:30 am - 3:00 / 4:00 or 5:00 pm.
    • Open everyday in July and August
  • Tours last approximately 60 minutes, no matter what time you enter. This excludes queuing times which may vary
  • Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the timeslot shown on your ticket

How to get there

  • Address: The Blackpool Tower Dungeon, Bank Hey Street, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY1 4BJ
  • Location: The Dungeon is located at the bottom of the Blackpool Tower.
  • Driving directions: Exit the M55 at junction 4 and take the second exit at the roundabout, signposted CENTRAL CAR PARKS.
  • Nearest train station: Blackpool North station is a 10-minute walk away. Blackpool South station is a 30-minute walk away
  • By Bus: Bus services 1, 5, 7, 10 and 14 run by The Blackpool Tower. Or hop on a Tram, they run along the coast from Fleetwood to Starr Gate - disembark at the Tower Tram stop
