Children information

  • Pushchairs are difficult to navigate through the museum due to its age. They can be stored in the store room.

Accessibility information

  • The museum is accessed via a cobbled stone courtyard.
  • The museum is in a very old building, with narrow passageways, uneven floors, and low beams.
  • There is and a set of steps up to the first floor and narrow set of stairs back down.
  • If you will need assistance, please contact us in advance of your visit and the museum will try to make sure someone is available to help on the day of your visit.

Ticket restrictions

  • Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult.
  • The Tudor Museum is open daily from 10:30am until 05:30pm.

How to get there

  • Address: Tudor World, Sheep Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6EE
  • Driving directions: Leave the M40 at junction 15 and take the A46 to Stratford upon Avon following onto A439, around the one-way system. Turn left onto waterside and take first right onto Sheep Street.
  • Nearest train station: Stratford-Upon-Avon railway station is 1 mile away, about a 15-minute walk.
  • Parking: There is a good park-and-ride service which has stops in Bridge Street and Wood Street.
