VisitBritain Shop Winter Sale promotion - Terms and Conditions

(the “Promotion”)

The Promotion is the right to use the promotional code JAN25 (the “Promotional Code”) from 16th January 2025 08:00am. The Promotional Code will be sent to VisitBritain Shop e-newsletter subscribers by email to claim a discount of £25 against a booking, if you spend a minimum of £50 for a participating attraction detailed on https://www.visitbritainshop.com/world/en/visitbritain-shop-winter-sale    

  1. The Promotional Code can only be redeemed via https://www.visitbritainshop.com/world/en/visitbritain-shop-winter-sale  
  2. The Promotional Code must be used by 31st January 2025 23:59 or earlier. After that time, the Promotional Code will be void. The Promotion Code is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability.  
  3. Only participating attractions are included in the Promotion. Please see https://www.visitbritainshop.com/world/en/visitbritain-shop-winter-sale for full details of participating attractions.
  4. The Promotional Code can only be used against the price of entry to a participating attraction. The full value of the Promotional Code must be used in one booking and there must be a minimum spend per order of £50 for the Promotional Code to be activated.
  5. Under the terms of the promotion, each customer is eligible to purchase a maximum of 10 times ie 10 orders using the Promotional Code. A customer can only use one Promotional Code per order. This limit applies per customer, and any purchases exceeding this quantity will not be eligible for the offer.
  6. If a booking is cancelled by you or the participating attraction, the terms and conditions of that participating attraction will apply. The value of the Promotional Code will not be reimbursed in the case of any such cancellation.
  7. Any Promotional Code offered under the Promotion cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.
  8. The Promotional Code is not valid for use in conjunction with any other promotion or offer.
  9. The Promotional Code is non-negotiable, non-transferable and any bookings of any participating attractions made using the Promotional Code will be non-refundable.  For the avoidance of doubt, any bookings which include a combination of participating attractions and non-participating attractions only the non-participating attraction part of the booking will be refundable, subject to the relevant cancellation terms. The Promotional Code is automatically void if sold, offered for sale, or if any attempt or offer is made to transfer the Promotional Code for value.
  10. Changes, cancellations, or modifications to bookings are not permitted under any circumstances. If a customer’s situation changes, no adjustments can be applied to their order.

Eligibility

  1. The Promotion is open to all VisitBritain Shop e-newsletter subscribers, both domestic and international.
  2. The Promotion is not open to VisitBritain/VisitEngland employees or members of the immediate families or households of VisitBritain/VisitEngland employees.
  3. Persons under 18 years old are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.

  3. VisitBritain/VisitEngland reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Promotion (in whole or in part), at their sole discretion.
  4. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
  5. VisitBritain/VisitEngland shall have no liability for any system failure or other action or event which prevents a player from entering the Promotion
  6. VisitBritain/VisitEngland accept no liability or responsibility of any nature in relation to the Promotional Code or in respect of any complaints regarding the use of the Promotional Code or the consequences of taking the Promotional Code to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  7. In addition, no responsibility is accepted by VisitBritain/VisitEngland for Promotional Codes lost, delayed or damaged in transmission.  
  8. These Terms and Conditions shall prevail over any inconsistent terms or conditions relating to the Promotion contained in or referred to in any other document.
  9. VisitBritain/VisitEngland reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at their discretion without notice.
  10. You must have an email address to participate in the Promotion.  
  11. The Promotion is only available for products purchased for personal non-commercial use. The Promoter reserves the right to either refuse to issue Promotional Codes or cancel any issued or disallow their redemption where they have grounds to believe that usage is or maybe intended for commercial use.
