Additional information

  • The Guided Tour of the estate departs on the hour from the Visitor Centre between 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • The Painted Hall has an audio guide in: English, French, Spanish, Italian, Mandarin, German and Japanese. Also you can join a tour that runs every 30 mins
  • The Victorian Skittle Alley usually opens from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
  • The Blockbuster Film Tour needs to be booked separately due to limited capacity

The Painted Hall live availability can be seen upon booking. Regular opening times are:

  • 10:00 am - 5:00 pm (last admission at 4:30 pm)

We recommend customers to check for any unplanned early or full closures.

Tous and talks:

  • The Site Tour / 500 Years of History Tour runs every day at 11:00 am, 12 noon: 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm (hourly and subject to availability.)
  • The Painted Hall talk runs every 30 minutes from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm (subject to availability and Painted Hall closures). Audio guide available in seven languages
  • The Victorian Skittle Alley usually opens from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Road access / Directions:

You can get to Greenwich area, where the ORNC is located, by:

  • Docklands Light Rail (DLR).
  • Boat (riverboat services along the Thames to Greenwich Pier: London Eye, Westminster, Embankment and Tower Piers).
  • Train.
  • Bus (routes with stop in Greenwich are: 129, 177, 180, 188, 199, 286, 386).

Also:

  • You can either walk from Greenwich and Maze Hill train stations and Greenwich and Cutty Sark DLR stations,
  • Ride your bike through the dedicated cycle path from the Lewin Gate at Cutty Sark Gardens to the Trafalgar Gate at Park Row.
  • And, if driving, a paid car parking is available in Park Row (SE10 9NL) and Cutty Sark Gardens.

  • North Greenwich (tube)
  • Greenwich train station (train & DLR)
  • Maze Hill train station.
