Whipsnade Zoo ticket restrictions

- Bicycles and motorbikes are not allowed on the premises.
- Roller-skates, rollerblades and skateboards are not allowed on Zoo premises.
- Children’s scooters are permitted under the supervision of an adult. No adult scooters are allowed onsite.
- Heelys roller shoes must not be used as skates, but may be worn as shoes.

- Guests can visit the Zoo at any time during opening hours.
- The Zoo opens daily at 10:00 am.
- Closing times vary seasonally between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
- Last admission is one hour before closing time.
- Last entry and closing times are subject to change due to special events.
- Please note that animal houses close 15 minutes before the Zoo closes.
- The Zoo is open every day of the year except Christmas Day.

- Road access / Directions: The Zoo is just north of London, 20 minutes from the M25 (junction 21), and signposted from the M1 (junction 9 and junction 12) and all major roads.
- By bus: Local bus services 40 and 40A operate from Dunstable to Whipsnade Zoo.
- Nearest train stations: Leagrave and Luton.
