Prepare for the experience

Children information

  • Only children aged 12 or over can participate in this experience.

  • Participants under 18 will require parental consent completed via an online waiver and adult supervision at a maximum ratio of 1:2.

  • There is no upper age limit as long as you are fit and healthy.

Accessibility information

  • Should you have accessibility requirements you must inform the provider in advance (min. 2 weeks), so that they can cater appropriately and ensure they have the correct equipment and staffing in place.
  • Please contact us if you require further accessibility information before booking.

Ticket restrictions

  • There is a weight limit of 19 stone / 120kg and you must be able to fit in the harnesses.
  • If you are pregnant, unfortunately, you cannot take part in the abseil. 

Additional information

  • You will also have free entry to the LFC Museum as part of your ticket. 
  • There are boxes available to put your belongings in but these are left at your own risk and should be small handbags or rucksacks. 

  • Under severe weather conditions, your abseil experience may be postponed and rescheduled for safety reasons. If the new timeslot does not fit your plans, the provider can send you a voucher code to re-book.

The regular operating times are the following:

  • Daily: 10:00:am- 03:00 pm.

The Liverpool FC Museum opening times are the following:

  • Daily: 09:00 am - 05:00 pm (last admission is 04:00 pm).

  • For your safety, you need to follow these guidelines to complete the abseil:

    • Your shoulders, midriff and upper legs should be covered
    • No loose clothing please e.g. long skirts or flowing cardigans
    • Wear closed-toe shoes, trainers or boots that will not fall off. Open-toe shoes, flip-flops, sandals or high heels are not permitted
    • Long hair must be tied back. Jewellery and scarves must be removed
    • The weather at the top of the Anfield Abseil is often magnified, so we recommend bringing a waterproof jacket and a warm layer.
