Accessibility information
- The zoo is reasonably wheelchair friendly. Wheelchair access is available to the Pavilion Café, Pavilion Pantry, Gift Shop and all exhibits
- Path surfaces are either tarmac or crushed and rolled stone and viewing areas are designed with wheelchair users in mind
- Unfortunately, the Safari Roadtrain is not adapted for wheelchair use.
- The Giraffe House’s first floor is accessible by lift and a ramp (via the Zarafa Heights Walkway)
- Wheelchair loan and Mobility scooter hire is available
- A carer can access free of charge when accompanying a person with reduced mobility or special needs

- By car: Banham Zoo is signposted off the A11 and A140 – Just follow the brown tourist signs.
