Here are electric, acoustic and bass guitars, including Les Pauls, SGs and 335s as well as Roland drums, synthesisers and keyboards. Regardless of age or ability, The Gibson Zone allows you to learn songs through video lessons
  • Dance the Decades: For all ages, this experience brings together 70 years and 12 iconic dance styles in one spacious booth. A virtual teacher is there to teach you all the moves. Strut your stuff and try it out for yourself
  • Vocal Booth: Bring your voice and choose from a selection of songs from over 20 British genres. Out professional vocal coach guides you in a range of techniques to get the best out of your voice. Feel free to record your performance on your phone
  • Star Cafe and Merch Store: Open daily with a range of band t-shirts, books, vinyl and memorabilia, with items from all the temporary exhibitions past and present

  • Children under 7 years old are free of charge
  • Children aged 7-15 will need to buy a child ticket
  • Buggies may be taken anywhere and baby-changing facilities are available
  • Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 18 or more

  • The British Music Experience’s accessible entrance is at Brunswick Street
  • Wheelchairs can circulate across all spaces within the venue
  • Loop systems are available in all audio areas and visitors with hearing aids should switch to the ‘T’ setting
  • There are audio guides, with printed versions available on request, and a free-of-charge audio-described guide
  • Assistance dogs are welcome and guides include British Sign Language
  • Carers are entitled to a free ticket when requested by any customer requiring assistance
