  • Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult
  • All children must remain under direct supervision at all times
  • Baby changing facilities are available

Dartmoor Zoo accessibility information

  • The majority of Dartmoor Zoo is accessible for wheelchair users, buggies and those with walking difficulties
  • Concession for disabled guests, students, pensioners and free tickets for carers available
  • Concessions must show an appropriate form of ID at the entrance gate
  • In places the surface becomes quite rugged and some paths are steep
  • Registered assistance dogs are welcome. Owners must show the identification and all assistance dogs must wear their identifying jackets

  • Very occasionally the Zoo may be closed due to extreme weather or other events
  • The Zoo is open every day from 10:00 am - 4:00pm
  • Last entry is one hour before closing time
  • The Zoo is closed 24, 25 and 26 December
