How to get there

  • Port Sunlight is nestled between Liverpool and Chester, near to the M53, and close to mainline and local railway and bus services.
  • Addresses:
    • Port Sunlight Museum, 23 King George’s Drive, Port Sunlight, Wirral CH62 5DX
    • Edwardian Worker’s Cottage (next door to the Port Sunlight Museum): 22 King George’s Drive, Port Sunlight, Wirral CH62 5DX
    • SoapWorks, The Lyceum, Bridge Street, Port Sunlight, Wirral CH62 4UJ
  • Nearest stations:  Bebington and Port Sunlight on the Chester/Ellesmere Port to Liverpool lines (Wirral line). 
  • By car: Use the Birkenhead (Queensway) tunnel then follow the signs from Liverpool. From elsewhere, leave the M53 at junction 5 and follow the signs for Port Sunlight Village. 
  • By bike: there’s plenty of bike routes around the village and wider area
  • By bus: there are a number of options including:
    • 464 bus to Bebington Road (from Sir Thomas St in Liverpool)
    • 38 bus to Bebington railway station (runs between Clatterbridge Hospital and West Kirby station)
