  • Infants aged 0-2 years go free.
  • Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Accessibility information

  • Wheelchairs are accepted on-board provided it is less than 10kg and a member of the party is able to lift it onto the coach. Please note that there are around 7 steps up to the door of the coach.
  • Unfortunately, this Tour is unable to accept mobility scooters.
  • Please inform us in advance if you intend to bring a wheelchair.

Ticket restrictions

  • The special display at Windsor Castle marking the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee has now closed and will not reopen.

Additional information

  • Windsor Castle is a working royal palace and planned closures/disruptions may be subject to change. 
  • During peak periods, additional vehicles without Wi-Fi could be used.
  • Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A guided walking tour will operate instead.

The tour’s live date availability can be seen when booking.

  • Duration: 11 hours. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time for boarding.

The regular operating times are the following:

  • Boarding Time: 07:30 am.
  • Departure time: 08:00 am.
  • Return Time: 07:30 pm approx.

Windsor Castle

Closures

  • Every Tuesday and Wednesday
  • 24-26 December Castle closed. A walking tour of Windsor will operate instead 
  • When the State Apartments are closed the Precincts, Drawings Gallery will remain open
  • St. George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services.
  • You will not be able to visit Queen Elizabeth II’s final resting place on a Sunday.

Departure point

  • Starting point: Stop Z6, outside 50 Grosvenor Gardens, London SW1W 0DH.
  • Tour End Point: Due to legal working hour’s restrictions for our drivers, this tour will finish within a 2 or 3-minute walk of Gloucester Road Underground Station [Zone 1 -  three stops Eastbound to Victoria (Circle Line, District Line)]. 
  • Nearest train station: London Victoria.
