- Children up to 16 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult.
- Children under 3 years old access free of charge.
- Baby change facilities available.
- Reasonably pushchair-friendly visitor’s common areas.
Accessibility information
Africa Alive Zoological Reserve is wheelchair and pushchair accessible, with pathed surfaces and lifts/ramps where appropriate.
There is a limited number of mobility scooters available for hire but we recommend contacting our team before booking as 24 hours’ notice is required.
- A carer can access free of charge when accompanying a person with reduced mobility or special needs.
- Assistance dogs are allowed but you must inform the supplier at least 48 hours before your intended visit. Email address: [email protected] .

There is a visitor code of conduct at the Africa Alive Zoological Reserve:
Never climb on, over or under the safety barriers.
Do not feed the animals
You are visitors to the animals’ home, please respect their space.
Visitors should not bring in scooters, roller skates, roller shoes, or balls.
For animal welfare, selfie sticks must not be used beyond public barriers.
The use of drones in our reserve is strictly prohibited.
Africa Alive is a smoke-free and vaping-free zone.
Permission is required for any commercial filming or photography.
